Case study: Manufacturing business.

We worked with a large, established OMB with turnover in excess of £30m. The business was over-reliant on the business owner which created issues with the availability of information and communications. We agreed to help the client to develop their internal processes and improve the production of information from the finance function to the other areas of the business to assist in decision making.

How we helped:

• We carried out a full evaluation of the current systems and procedures
• Persuaded the business owner to consider a change to the current operational systems by evidencing the improvements which could be achieved
• Developed an “open” system which delivered what was required to the other parts of the business, and also one which could be upgraded to cover the entire business process
• Agreed a strategic route forward for the business to engage the next generation of the family
